~FOOD~

Photobucket
-It's not beer-
Frosty Lemon tea RM8.90
Not sure it is refillable or not. It's very rare I drink such a smooth blended. I rally can't identify what it is by its colour. Definitely a new thing for me.

Photobucket
Appetizer

Photobucket
Consist of Beef and vege rolls
I don't eat beef so yeah... can't comment

Photobucket
Ham 'n' Cheese
I just know it is a layer of bread wrapping some ham and cheese inside. Some olive oil and herbs were spread on it before it was cut and serve.
Not really a surprised combination (to be honest, the combination is not a successful one). The texture and flavors are so-so. Maybe they want to take the flavors only on the main dish?

Photobucket
Cherry tomatoes with olive oil and herbs
I believe there is other more appropriate name for it.
Yeah, it's just 1 words "oily"
And maybe another 1 "tasteless"

Photobucket
Mussel
I don't eat mussel that frequent. Although it doesn't smell fishy, but the texture can't lie that it's not fresh. Or over cooked I suppose.

Photobucket
Nutty Chicken
Grill/roast chicken with walnut oil.

with
Photobucket
Crusted Salmon

Photobucket
(left) Nutty Chicken would be my favorite dish of the night.
The breast was not really tender but the way they prepare it makes it alive. I like how they grill/roast the chicken skin to slightly crispy serve it with the walnut oil as sauce. Another perfect way to saute frozen chicken.

(right) I dont' know why the salmon is so dry. It was not full cook but still very dry inside. This rarely happen on my salmon. Bu the abalone mushroom and Parmesan mash potatoes are pretty good though.

Photobucket
Grilled Ahi Tuna

Photobucket
It looked so pretty on the outside that I have no choice but to post 2 photo instead.
As I said, beautiful from the outside ONLY. Just like a vast. It was the worse seafood combination they could ever made. The pepper on the outer layer was kindda spicy and hard because it comes in big grain. While the worst part is still the fish. It's so hard and dry that I almost feel like I am eating some salted fish except the tuna has no taste at all.
However, the salad is pretty good tough(second time I praise the side dish).

Photobucket
Lamb Concasse
The mutton is very worth trying. I don't take mutton usually, but its so soft, tender and juicy that I will be regret for not trying it. The pumpkin puree (as stated in the menu, thought that it's curry mutton) is a very new and interesting match. Loves it a lot.

Photobucket
Spicy Seafood Cabonara

PhotobucketPasta
Was brain wash by bloggers around me on how good the pasta was and how must we try it.
Not really impressive, a bit concentrated and sticky. Not really hating it but don't really favors it too much. I think it can be better with more oily and less creamy and sticky.

MusselPhotobucket
Same mussel in appetizer, with additional cream.

Overall: 7/10 (New idea, need to work on the menu!)
Taste bud indulgence: 6/10 (Some food are good but some are just awful, side dish are even better than main!)
Purse saver: -not applicable, sponsored event-
Atmosphere: 8/10 (A very relax place to chill. Loves the frame idea a lot. )

*note: no photo blog for tonight since a "proper" blog post is posted XP*

If you were me, which will you choose?
Intel vs Advancenet
Penang vs Kuala Lumpur
Dream vs Hometown

Too bad, I can either choose left or right.
I can't let go things in my home town yet.
If I choose to left now, I can never hold want I want.

Ysquare Photoblog 1: Introduction

If you are my blog's reader, you will realise how slow I update my blog.
Not that I have nothing too blog, but my perfectionist side, held me from updating a simple post.
So, now it's time to do some changes. Starting from now, I will do a photoblog, which is easier to maintain. I target to update it like 3 times a week? *>.<* can me if I can't do it in future :p

Accidentally dropped baby money into drain and need to wash it.
Stay there babe while I hug Pucca to sleep for these few nights~

[Ads] WIth Tune Talk mobile, you will never fail in a prank call again!

Just put the prank call later and I am here to introduce a brand new Telco in Malaysia:
Photobucket
Yes, its Tune Talk!

Curtesy to Nuffnang and Tune Talk, I was able to get a hands on review on Tune Talk prepaid.
Photobucket

Lets see whats in the list:
(1) Sim card (of course, duh =.=)
Photobucket

with instruction manual on how things going on with Tune Talk, such as activation, online self care, balance inquiry, etc.

Photobucket

(2) flyers
Photobucket

(3) RM100 in total of Tune Talk credit
Photobucket

Was so excited just by looking at its rates on the flyers, so 1st thing I did when went back home is to try it out ^ ^
Photobucket
slot in the sim card to the Iphong
(Iphong credit to Jackie, his phone actually, will come back with my new phone review shortly)

Photobucket

Photobucket
With a lil aid from the manual (in the sim pack), I was able to activate and reload for the 1st time.

I know must be asking this:
"H3ll, its a new prepaid service, how the H3ck I am going to find reload?"
Photobucket
Fear not! You can easyly find prepaid in one of these places:
7E, 99speedmart, Tune hotels, CIMB ATM etc

"H3ell ya!, that will cost you a bomb!"
Most prepaid customers have no idea what rates they are paying currently.
Telco tariff plans and Marketing messages confuse customers with different services that actually make us pay even more

Well, there are some fun facts about Tune Talk that YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW:

(i) Tune Talk provide super low flat rates nationwide to any number, anytime
o 16 sen/min
o 5 sen/SMS
o 5 sen/MB data
*compare to the data of my current Telco D, which provide 5s/kb, it sucks the juice out of my purse yo! Even their so call Post paid is Rm33 per 300MB, which is 11s/MB. THATS is twice of Tune Talk yo!*

(ii)Free RM100,000 Personal Accidental Insurance Coverage underwritten by Etiqa
*well, since I am not a insurance agent, I really don't know much about this PA, but you can always go to their website to find out more ;D*

(iii) Earn Tune Talk points for AirAsia flights for every top up (only Telco that rewards you with free Air Asia flights). Points NEVER expire.

(iv)Longer credit period:
RM30 = 50 days
RM50 = 75 days

(vi) Option to change your number anytime
*Now you are talking! This is what I like the most!*

Regarding fact 4, I am going to tell you why I like so much about Tune Talk!
Thanks to Jackie who lend me his phone due to my Reddie die in pieces the other day.
He rarely use the phone hence he didn't know there is a voice change setting in the phone till I tell him.

And again, thanks 2 Tune talk, I am able to change my phone. no. any time!

When phone no. and voice change set (to mature female voice),this was the prank call made to Jackie:
Me : Hello good evening! Is this Mr. Jackie Loi Wing Hong
Jackie : Yes... (stammer a lil)I am.
Me : very sorry to call you this late. Are you free to talk?
Jackie : yeah sure.
Me : Great, I am from a printer company. I know that you are a blogger. Our company have a new model of printer and we need some one to do review on us. Will you be abel to do so?
Jackie : Erm... I don't think so becaues I am very busy with my assignment right now.
Me : It's be fast, just 2 post like that and its all ok.
Jackie : Very sorry but I have few assignment now. Maybe you should go find other people.
Me : Ok thats ok. By the way, if you happens to change your mind, you can always call me back...
Jackie : May I know who's on the line?
Me : I'm ysquare
Jackie : what? again?
Me : I'm ysquare
Jackie : sorry? what is that?
Me : I'm ysquare. Don't you know me?
Jackie : ...(paused)...
Me : I'm ysquare.
Jackie : sorry?

I was so frustrated to explain to him that its me, so I end the call, change the voice change setting and call him again.
Despite of knowing him so many year, I never play such a prank call to him. He deny that he was pranked and he insist that he know its me.Yeah right.... when I say I am ysquare you were so confused = =

Well, that is so far my experience of using Tune Talk. If you are a data user like me and use very lil on phone and sms, I will suggest you to try out Tune Talk!

I was a blogger when I am a brat and now I am still a brat [-__-|||]

Although Blogspot was way much popular than live space back then, but I still chose to stay with Live space because my blog is kindda like my personal diary. Ajisen Ramen Japanese Restaurant Aeon Bandaraya Melaka branch

It has been a while since I blog anything about Melaka. This is not really a Melaka post because what I am going to introduce today has branches all over Malaysia, that is:
Ajisen 味千拉面
Ajisen Ramen Japanese Restaurant
I went to the Aeon Bandaraya Melaka branch.

Ajisen Ramen shop at Aeon Bandaraya Melaka
The external of the shop is not really attractive. I barely know it is a franchise.
No particular Japanese decoration, except some Japanese words(日本語)and some red lanterns.

Ajisen Ramen interio
While the internal, you really can't differentiate what kind of restaurant it is if I didn't tell you the name Ajisen and if I cheat you it's an western, you wouldn't know too, right? (-__-|||)

Ajisen Ramen menu
First, the menu. No tax, but 10% service charge.
Large variety of food, ranging from Ramen, rice, set, side dish, dessert and drinks.

Ajisen Ramen green tea cup
As usual, I like some green tea(お茶)during meal. Typical Japanese style cup.
RM0.80/person

Ajisen Ramen Chicken Teriyaki Rice Set
Chicken Teriyaki and rice set
Rm14.80
As you can see, it consist of (12 o'clock clock wise) chicken terriyaki, salad, carrot pickles, soup and steam rice.

Ajisen Ramen Chicken Teriyaki Rice Set
No no no...
you don't need to control your saliva, just let it flow...

Ajisen Ramen Vegetable Curry Ramen
Hubby choose Vegetable Curry Ramen
RM14.80
Although its vegetarian. it is great in value too, you can see the sweet corn, mushrooms and all kinds of agro. Great for vegetarian but for those who is no diet ;)
Like what we expect the curry is rather sweet than spicy, typical Japanese spicy limit towards curry.

Ajisen Ramen Chicken Teriyaki Ramen
As for me, I took Chicken Teriyaki Ramen
RM16.80
(when I was paying I was like -__-||| how could it be more expensive than set?!)
The Chicken is not very tender but well marinated. Perhaps it took too much time to marinate, the texture loose it original tenderness. But that is what I hate hate most.
What I hate most is the burned garlic.
I hate garlic.
I hate it so far and will hate it for the rest of my life.
And when it is burn some more! Can you imagine how I feel? *>.<* Perhaps instead of spicy sigh, all the restaurant should have garlic sign too to indicate garlic-ed dish *XD* Oklah, they have something to be praise too. Their Ramen is extremely filling. It might looks very little at first, but when you much on it, you can feel the solidity of the noodles. I was over Ramen overdose that day... Ajisen Ramen Japanese Deep Fried Tofu
Japanese Deep Fried Tofu
Rm5.50/3 pcs
Hubby ordered it. The skin is very crisp but the inner is very soft. Hubby claim that it has nothing special, but I personally think that its great.

Ajisen Ramen Japanese Dumpling
Japanese Dumpling (gyoza)
Rm6.50/3pcs
OMG *>.<* this is the best Japanese Gyoza that I ever taste. Most unprofessional gyoza turn out to be very yucky, even in some highly rate restaurant. But this is really out of my mind! The soup has very high savoury taste, so are the soya sauce. I really didn't expect it will turn out to be an enjoyfull buy. But the best gyoza in my life so far is still Chinse gyoza, made by Esquire Kitchen before they change their style to fast food chain restaurant.

Overall: 7/10 (Not much to praise but it has also noting much to be complain)
Taste bud indulgence: 8/10 (A lil bit unexpected, but some are good some are just so so)
Purse saver: 7/10 (I can't believe eating set is cheaper than eating Ramen itself 0.0 )
Atmosphere: 6/10 (More like a western restaurant, but the overall service is quite decent.)
