My Penang Diary 4: Queensbay Mall
I have came to Kulim for my internship about 2 months already. Within this period, I have traveled to Penang quite often. May it be driving alone, hanging out with friends, or taking company shutter for a work related trip.
Despite much travelling, I have no chance to went into this enormous mall although I will pass by the mall every time I visit Penang.

My Langkawi Island(Kedah,Malaysia) Diary 6: Langgura Baron Resort (review)
Like I mention in my previous post My Langkawi Island(Kedah,Malaysia) Diary 3: Aseania Resort (Overview) and My Langkawi Island(Kedah,Malaysia) Diary 4: Aseania Resort (Facilities and scenery) , I stayed in Aseania resort on my 1st night.
On 2nd night, my colleagues decided to choose a cheaper resort, RM130 per night for quad-sharing room, so we all moved to here:
Langgura Baron Resort.

My Langkawi Island(Kedah,Malaysia) Diary 1: Souvenirs
If you followed my tweet, you probably know I went to Langakawi Island (Kedah, Malaysia) for a company team building trip. Theoretically the trip was sponsored, but our extend cause us to chip out some more on the trip.
Overall, I like Langkawi alot. The sea and beaches (not bitches) there are cleaner compare to Melaka(Malacca) and Port Dickson. It might not be the best beach in Malaysia but it might be the most affordable all in 1 travel package, which I will explain later in coming My Langkawi Island(Kedah,Malaysia) Diary post, which is not really a diary too-___-
Come back to the tittle, souvenirs. Like most of you know, Langkawi Island is a duty-free place in Malaysia. Some imported product appears to be much expensive than local product because of the tax. 1 of the must buy item in Langkawi is Chocolate. My mates are crazy about Ferrero Roche. In some major supermart, 2 dozen pack of Ferrero Roche might shoot up to Rm30++ to RM40, but in Langakwi, it's just RM21.90. Since I am not it's fans, I don't bother to take a second look.

I call myself a true chocolate fan *cehhh wah~*. I prefer chocolate bar instead of those fancy chocolate related product (like Nips, M&N, Kisses, Ferrero etc). Not to say these(up) are the best chocolate on the market, it's just my preference =)
The 2nd most important must buy thing in Langkawi Island is liquor. If you are a muslim, of course you can't do so. Frankly, I don't drink too, but it's so cheap that you can't believe your own eyes. 1 can of Carlsberg is same price as 1 can of soft-drink (soda), RM1.80. Heineken of course, is slightly more expensive, but it is still around RM2.50.

Try to guess what baby is this?

It's the 18 years old Johnnie Walker Gold label blended scotch whisky ^ ^

KOT!!! See how gorgeous it is! *>.<*
In K.L, 1 bottle of Gold Label is at least RM300++ or might shoot up to RM400 (I am not totally sure because pub/clubs usually sell it more expensive). However, in Langkawi, I bought it for RM147 only!!! Isn't that insane?
Buying it is a bless but storing it is a major problem. I bought it as a birthday gift for my brother because I though I wanna fix our gap. But I will only go back to my home town, K.L in 1 month time. How am I gonna store it? I know nothing about liquor =(. Luckily Jackie bridge me to Samuel Chew and Sam gave me some advise on storing it. Hope I can still preserve JW's best quality until it reach my brother *>.<*

Wedding fair by Touch and Tom Wedding Group (18,19 Dec 2010 at Mid Valley Exhibition Center)
Last week, I fetch my sis and her friends to the education fair in Mid Valley Exhibition Center.
Adults at my age are really not interested in these kind of things. You know, all we care are money, career, car, spouse etc. Education is not in our list. Thus, this education really isn't my cup of interest.

Walk around, see how institute lure their student to attract more student.

It looks nice from the outside but can't comment on their fillings.
When I almost kill by the boredom and decided to go down to do some shopping, I found out that there is a hall less pack at the left of the exhibition center.

In front there, there is this huge photo album and a stage behind.

Beyond the stage, a nicely decorated gate with flowers. Then only I realize it's a wedding fair organized by Touch and Tom Wedding Group.

It is some how romantic

and eerie at the same time.

There were only wedding dress that attract my attention.
I remember I read it in some where that Marie Curie (also known as Madam Curie) choose a black wedding dress instead of white because black is more resist to dirt and can be wore again later, so no waste.
I think no other women in the world is as rational as she is. Really salute her and her contribution towards physics and Chemistry.

Other than the booth, there are also some performance.
This was a wedding make up demonstration.

This is the only make up that I am impress with.
Done by William.

The eye lashes were self made to mimic the butterfly so that when the model blink, the butterfly like eye lashes flap its wings.
Maybe I sharpen it so much that it looks a bit unrealistic, but in reality, it looks awesome!

However, what impress me the most is this guy from Beat Music Performance.
His name is Justin.
Here is a video of his performance, both guitar and vocal.
(note 0.28-0.32)
爱很简单, original sang by 陶喆 (David Tao)
Not to mention great harmony, which didn't cover the main singer's voice but still develops the vocal.
I will find back the tittle of the song first, before I update it again here.
On the other hand, should really give credit to this saxophonist too.

See how hard he is trying to blow it -_- (pun intended)

And this is the lead singer, Wing.
So, if you are interested in the performance too, you are go to their blog at http://beatpg.blogspot.com/

Jipaban – My 2010 Santarina : Gift for myself.
It comes again, it comes again!!!
Who comes again?
To be correct, what comes again!
Hey, it's Christmas!!!
Aren't you excited as me?Although I am not a Christian nor really knows what the meaning behind the celebration, I do celebrate this season of greeting with my friends and family.
Last year:
This year I have not plan anything at the moment, but I think it wouldn't be in the shade.
Before this I never plan anything for myself, until this knock me out!
Jipaban-The one stop online shopping mall.
*But before you proceed, make sure you sign in as a member 1st! It's totally free, so no worries, k?*
*Remember to read the terms and condition before checking the box and fill in the security check box!*
When I roam through, I admit i'm attracted to all those dress, shoes, accessories, hand bag etc.
But those are just what I want, not really what I need. Then I get into this shop:
It has some cute and fancy diary/planner.
"whack" I have not get a diary/planner for next year yet!
I started to use planner since year 2004. I am not sure where my year 2006 and 2007 planner gone, but my year 2008 and 2009 planner is at Melaka at the moment.
Not that it's not important to me that I left it in Melaka, it's just so bulky! Imagine you have to carry that 500g thick cover book every day in your bag! That makes a 182.5 kg per year in totally(miss leading-ing)!
Can you imaging it's 3 times of my weight! *faint*
So, start from last year, I start o choose this little cute diary/planner. It's so light in weight that you don't notice that you are carrying it!
It's so small but yet compact and well organize!!
However, good thing never happen twice. I try to finds back this kind of diary/planner in the market, but luck is not at my side. All the diary in the market (this year) is thick, bulky and most important, they are all so fug!y!
Now, with Jipaban, I found my suitable diary in my mind:
Day by day Vintage Dairy from Green Poppies.
This small and cute Diary only cost RM95.58 which is less than RM100 from a Singapore online store.
It has 4 colors which is Pink, Sky Blue, Red, Camel.
I think both the pink and red is very nice.
Its s cute that you might not wanna write on it!
And the organize yet pretty planner is so awesome!
And to top things up, Courtesy to Nuffnang, and Jipaban 8 most creative blog post winners are going to get their present sent to person they meant just in time for Christmas, completely free of charge, plus cash/GSC voucher:

Jipaban – My 2010 Santarina, Tote bag for my sis!
Well, maybe you guys don't know, I have only 1 sister and she is way younger than me. She is still studying in secondary while I am in University now.

Introducing my sis: Fun.
(believe me, she is not camera shy, she is a fashion diva, I'll show you)

However, there is 1 thing I wanna comment about her:

Her stuff is so messy and unorganized!
You can see keys, nail clipper, nail vanish, glue, pens etc leave about on the table.
And why is that big spoon on the table anyway? -__-

Even her pencil box have basically everything from Doreamon's 4 dimension pocket.
So, one day when I roam through Jipaban, I found this:

A reversible vertical tote bag from Carbon 12 Geek Chic that cost RM88.95

It's so big that she can literary brings everything to school and tuition classes!!! So all her messy stuff that brings to every where she wants is well organized.
Plus, it looks so chic and in style, so she wouldn't complain what I bought her is so old school (which happened lots of time -__-) that she wouldn't want to wear it! ^ ^
Even if she doesn't like white, she can always reverse it to become a black bag to match with her outfit! How cool is that!

Nina Ricci Fragrance for sale!
-Brand new Nina Ricci perfume-
(didn't bother to open it yet)
Nina Ricci perfume, 50ml for sale.
As you may not aware, I won myself a Nina Ricci from Nuffnang yesterday as a runner up in Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale blog contest.
(P/S: I am really not trying to show off, k? the drama cause by this movie is enough!)
I really didn't expect to win anything. I just want those tickets. Besides, I am allergy to perfumes. My nose can only adapt to very few kind of perfume. Prada is an exception.
So, now you know whos the Devil? *wink wink*
I am not comparing both brands.
It's just that, I am using this bottle of Prada for almost 1 year, the result:
I only use this much of amount.
If I keep the Nina Ricci, I may take up 30 years to finish both (-__-)
So, I might just share it with you guys plus get myself some pocket money.
Hint: it's a great gift for girls especially Birthday and Aniversary *wink wink*
