My Penang Diary 10: Ichiban Ramen Aeon Seberang Prai City Shopping Center

 
I visited this Ramen shop when I was still doing my internship in Northen Malaysia. 
I still remember I had a meeting on the Penang Island in the afternoon and have to drive back to the mainland to this mall after work then stuck in a massive jam just to attend a movie gathering with my housemates.
One of the reason I didn't blog about this shop ASAP is because I don't really like the food here except their gyoza.

Tao Sunway Giza Lunch Buffet (review)

Although I just went to Tao like 1/2 year ago [My 1st experience with Tao can be found HERE] and did a review of my amazing experience there (you can check it out here) I always thinking to go back there again. When I was assign to do my intern in the Northern Malaysia, I wanted to try Tao Auto-city branch since rumours say they are the first and best Tao branch in Malaysia. However, I couldn't find any "kaki" to go with me =( (you wouldn't want to have buffet alone right? it's so pathetic >.<) so I missed the chance to tried it out. Luckily, my "kaki" in K.L willing to go down to Tao with me ^ ^

6th Blog Day: My fav blog o^_^o

I would really wanna say my favourite is my crappy blog but the fact: it's not. I am still very poor in maintaining a blog T_T

Since tomorrow is the blog day cum Hari Raya cum Merdeka day(post Holiday XP), I would like to share some of my favorite blog for you to read in this holiday.

HP TouchPad (my humble point of view, sort of review XP)

Front note: Due to job and study contraint, a tech blog can't actually can't blog about tech and engineering. I had an agreement with my previous company that to hold confidential for them and I shall not work part-time using the same knowledge I gain from my company else it would be a conflict of interest. As for my lecurert, they do not like student like us to blog or gain information from blog coz we are not the official source of information and do not have any ganrantee to our produced work. These are the reason I didn't blog about tech stuff for a long them and change my direction to to travel and food blog. Since I am in holiday now and I am not contrain by any agreement or contact of job, I don't give a damn but to blog more about tech again XP

After leaving K.L for so long time, I am finally back to K.L again. From what I see in Twitter and FB, bubble milk tea or franchise drinks shops are trending in K.L. I am not a big fan of bubble milk tea and don't usually pick up any drink when I am doing my shopping so I didn't bother to try the famous Chatime (which literally appear in EVERY possible place that you can think of =.=).


But since Jackie is so attracted to Gong Cha and declare it is better than Chat-time, so I just give it a try.

How To Curl Your Hair And Hold It For Long Time Then Get It Back Straight Whenever You Want.

Went back to K.L from Melaka end of last month before I travel to Penang-Kulim to my internship. I was very lucky to get invited to Zouk by Elwyn for the Astro Spin Master 2 Press Conference. Since I was free, I decided to doll up myself a bit ^ ^


I curled my hair at 7pm and the curls are still curvy at 2am. 7 hours is a loooooong time!

I have a small tip on how to have long lasting curls without any hair product:

1. Wash your hair
2. Use a tower to absorb some moist from the hair but do not dry it.
3. Separate hairs into sections
4. Put ur hairs into the heated bar according to your preference.
5. Let your hair stay in the bar for longer time.
6. Wait until your hair is 95% dry, then remove your hair from the bar slowly(Do not wait till your hair 100% dry, else it might burn ur hair)
7. If your hair is not dry enough when you remove your hair, repeat step 4-6.
8. No hair spray is needed, but you can style your hair using hair pins or other accessories.

If you already have natural straight hair but wants back your straight hair after curl or you have natural curl hair but wanted to have straighter hair, I would suggest you to use this product:

Herbal Essences dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner.
(note: Watson has HE promotion some times. It's far cheaper than RM16.90 in most super-mart ^ ^)


The is how my hair looks like after a wash from the curled hair shown in 1st photo.
You may claim that I have a natural straight hair so whatever shampoo and conditioner I use, I will still get back a straight hair since I didn't do a permanent curl.

However, it's not totally true. I may have a straight hair but not at the end. This product has proven to straighten hair even at the split ends, just like my photo above. Another friend of mine that are using it which has natural curly hair claim that his hair become straighter.

Ysquare Photoblog 11: 1st Day of intern Get Company Laptop Already + I Have Found Out Whats The Mysterious Sign!

Slightly late blog post update today because it was my first day intern.

Sorry that I was not available to update my blog accordingly because after I finish my final, I spend most of my time travel around (note: not on vacation).

I travel from Melaka(where I study) to K.L (my home town) then to Penang( place to overnight) and finally Kulim (where I blogging now + my intern place).

1st day in the company was cool. Quite fun, not like what I did when I had my 1st day in Public Bank, which I have nothing to do. I was already introduce to the company, the system, the places(plant), ppl and future assignment.
Of all the things, the least expected was that I assigned a laptop on the 1st day of intern!

Don't you scared I run away with you Lenovo ThinkPad T400? LOL

Now, the Lenovo ThinkPad T400 is my left open with ppt about work, Dell Latitude E5400(Lappy) on my right with my social network and report book on my lap.
LOL, isn't it laptop should stay on the lap and book on the table?

Since I name my personal laptop as Lappy already, should I call my company laptop Lappo?
XD

Anyway, will update my work experience in my company if it doesn't violate it's P&C statement.

Ysquare Photoblog 9: We Human Are Not The Only Inteligent Living Creature In The World.

Bought some Whitening mask in Watson the other day because they have discount for this product. Wanted to do a review on it but it's not very effective, so just forget about it.
But before I used, like usual, taking photo for review, I found out something very interesting.
My Lumix can't focus on the human's face but rather on the mask
o.O|||
Does that mean the are other highly intelligence creature in this world other than human that looks exactly like the mask?

Found other similar case(Face Recognition), just that he is Cat, not human XD

Back to basic, face recognition consists of algorithm identify faces by extracting landmarks, or features, from an image of the subject's face.However, not every algorithm is precise, that is why this problem is happening to me. No alien here, ok? XD

DiGi iPhone 4 Play

Wanting an iPhone is not a joke ok? I did do some research on that.

People want iPhone as a part of entertainment. Not for me, the apps will really help in lighten up my work. Maybe as a industrial disease, I( engineering student) tends to want everything in details, including groceries and meals. When, I am shopping, I count every prices per kg or Little of different packing size, so that I can spend the least to get the most.

When I am out with friends for meals, calculating price of each person's portion is necessity since we are not rich to treat each other. So, a calculator in my hand bag wherever I go always come in handy.

The calculator that I'm using is not just any calculator. It's a natural display calculator.
The only issue I have with my calculator is that of it's weight and thickness.
If I can have an iPhone 4, life will be easier.


This pi cube Lite iPhone apps is a very strong calculation apps. It doesn't only fit's my leisure life, it can also be use as a scientific calculator for me to do my study and homework.
Well, I just love this equation:

I don't know whats the difference between Pi Cube and Pi Cube Lite.
I guess Pi Cube Lite is just the free version of Pi Cube which has less function just like Microsoft Visual C++ express and Microsoft Visual Studio.



Other than Calculator, I also have habits to bring my dairy (or more like a daily and monthly planner) and to do list paper wherever I go.
You see, these very light and small things will be a considerable weight and space in my handbag if it has a considerable amount.

However, that's not all,

All the scatted writing will not emerge a notification effect, So I did another to-do list beside my table:

Red Tomato Pets Fun Day. Part I: Huge breed dogs.

Note: This post has nothing to do with speaking tomatoes, 2 balls, and ppl with name starts with C.

Few weeks back, Red Tomato had a event called Red Tomato Pets Fun Day. Jloi told me about that event and willing to fetch me there, so, I ended up to become a photographer assistance(kononnya. more like me the 'dai siu jie' with her assistance). I just lost my dog last month and I feel like I wanna have a day out with the pets to have me less self blaming over my mistake towards Faye(my dog). Having some discussion on the night before the actual day. We decided to went there quite early.

There are no entrance for the whole event, and the whole park is full of pets, so we just go to the park using the shortest road from car park. When I reach the park, my first group of pets are the huge breed dog.

I have special favor toward Golden Retriever. I like their gentle attitude, their intelligent and quick learning characteristics. Thus, my eyes and camera is focusing on her/him (not sure about its sex). It is much huge than the usual golden retriever I have even seen.

But then hor, other than retriever, there are other huge breed dogs around, and I was attracted by this lil (I mean huge) fella.

D'Campus

When I was told by my friend about the Youth club, I was amaze and wanted to change my phone number just because of the lower rates. 1 cents to same operator and 5 cents to different operatos while calling rates is as low as 12 cents per minutes.
But then, I found out something more interesting on the next few weeks! It is the D'Campus from Digi. Its sms are 1 cents on same operator but 6 cents on different operator. For friends and family, sms are FREE. Do you get me? Its FREE!!! And for the calling rates, though a bit expensive than youth club but after RM2.00 has spend for the day, all calls to digi network are FREE. Again, its FREE!!!

However, I didn't change to the D'Campus immediately. I was hesitating, between keeping my number or lower rate, because D'Campus is only available for new simpack. Then, when I went to Digi center 2 days ago with jackie, I found out this:

Starting from 3 Aug till 31 Oct, we, the existing Digi user can change our prepaid plan to D'Campus at any Digi center.

So, what are you guys waiting for? Change to D' Campus lah!

Anyway, I also found out something quite interesting:

Digi mistakenly put my 3 campuses as to 3 University..... My uni really that "famous" until nobody bother to check it status meh......

First day of hostel staying in short sem (part II)

Yes, this is part II. Never imagine that this day have a part II. (If you don't know what had hapened, please visit my part at here.)
Apparently, it don't happen on the same day, but same bad luck happens on different day. Things going funny when there is a new notice.

This is no way.Mmy room is so disordered that I didn't even know how to start.
(Ignore the bra, it is not mine, it is not even my size...... who will believe wor....)

At the morning, after I get my breakfast, the first thing I do is get myself some cleaning equipment then get the new house's key at hostel's office.

On my way downstairs, I saw early bags (early birds). Some student have started to move their belongings.

My decision of bring the cleaning item before the luggage is the wisest decision to made. The filthiness of the new room can fight the old room.

You see, this looks like a normal innocent bed, but when you walk closer:

EWWWWW...... the girl that slept here before pee pee on bed every night izzit? Plus the room having a funny smell, smell a little like urine and might be some wet clothest that are keep inside cupboard that have not totally dryed yet. Thus, you really can't blame me for having this kind of preception.

Things get worse when I found out that dust are every where even on the bed.

When I was doing part I post, I was like, this is seriusly not going to happen again in my life. Mana tau with 4 weeks, it happens again and this time creepier.

Just tell me the name and I will let you see how the dust looks like. Above were bed dust and groud dust.

We still have dust between cupboard,

drawer dust,

Table dust etc.

Doing some packing after get rid of all the dustssssss, I starts to shift my stuff to another block.

However, Good play a joke on us.

HE cried

Making us stop to rest while HE is emo-ing.

Then we starts our chores again after lunch when HE is happy again.

After clearing my previous room, it is "crystal clear" again.

Then, shift all the lugage to the new room in next block.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE. Did you saw any different in this photo.
Other than the alphebate difference in those 2 sets of photo, can you spot what other difference is with those 2 rooms. There are actually in same level, same house, same room, so same position. However, there are something more....

Left: Block B got creative cornet but block A don't.

After shifting all those stuff... tada... a clean room. More tidy than before shifting. Well, it does looks good on the outside, but how about from the inside?
