UTeM Scenary at Night

For those who follow my twitter or added me in facebook, you will know that I just lost Reddie. This is not a post to send remembrance to Reddie but how I go through my emo-ness.
After I lost Reddie, I felt terribly emo until I cried in front of Jackie Loi. * so embarrassing*
So, I decided to give myself a small treat with a tight budget. Wanted Secret Recipe but no time to travel, so I just found a local bread store and bought 1 slice of Tiramisu~

Sat in front of the lake on the grass with a piece of cake of my left hand and my camera at right.
Look upon the sky....
ah.... it's full moon tonight!

Back to 3 years ago when I first found out that UTM don't want me and only got accepted by UTeM (note: BONUS letter "e"), I was quite depressed. I can only comfort myself that I still get the course I want.

Today, I fear no more to tell people around me that I am from UTeM.
Ranked as the 23th university by www.webometrics.info in our country and 2nd technical university after Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, UTeM as a new born university with age of 10 year (including it's university college period) wowed the country with great achievement. Just this afternoon, German Day was host by UTeM in Dewan Besar UTeM (picture above). A great amount of German company in Malaysia have booth and gave talk to student from both UTeM and secondary school pupils around Melaka.
Just to name a few Infineon, T-system, BMW, Volkswagen, Siemen etc.

I am proud to be a part of UTeM. Wish your continual succeed in the next 10 years of great excellence!

How to create a magnetic lock: Phase I : Try and error

After getting advice from my junior's father, where he advice me to get the E core from some old unwanted transformers.

This is the one I get from the junk store opposite to my house.



And get some others from my dad and brother's friends.

After trying to dissect them, this is the result:

creats a mess and get nothing.

Then, I ask my dad to help. After a few knocking, he gave up and said:
"How could this possibly be open?! It's glue together. "

Leaving me with my confuse face.

What the ~~~~
Shouldn't you make a mess and trash at least 1/2 of what I created before giving up?
Oh God. I can't think of anything worst than this.
That leaves me no choice but to buy a set of brand new core.

Facilitator's preparation for MHS 2010/2011

Didja know that we facilitator not only work on the MHS, but we already start our work before MHS. As the post earlier, facilitators have to attend a camp i.e TOT (training of trainees) and did some pre-MHS preparations.

First all all, all facilitators have their vest.

We don't make it or own it. We borrow if from HEPA i.e. Student Affair and Alumni Office.

"Satu, dua, tiga, empat..... bila nak habis ni? Shit! sudah lupa sampai mana tadi~~~"


Other than that, all groups are busy meeting with their members to plan everything that they could control, so that new student will have less problem and feel more like at home.


Don't think we facilitators know everything. We are human (students too). Actually we are not as knowledgeable as you all (new student) see, we just burn the midnight oil. XP

The whole process is very tiring

(note: Wan xi was sick on the preparation. Not that she's lazy, but the fever rally pulled her down. Now you see how we faci sacrifice for you. Ceh wah~~~)

however, there is always time for play.

Why must University student/graduate know everything

This morning, my dad took out the water bill and asks me something. I take a look that B.M phrase and said I don’t know. Then he scolded me, “Why a grown up university student like you can’t answer that simple question?”
I was thinking like “duh…. You also grown up what, why don’t you know about that too?”
What I really trying to say that, when we keep growing up, when gain experience, then we tend to stereotype certain things according to our past experience. That is what we further away from the youngsters. It is very common that parent think that their child should be very excel if their child is in the college or university. When their child is out of the university, their child should know “everything”! However, how could that possible?! Even if I did learn a lot in my university life, but most of it is about subject related to my course. How could a doctor repair a machine or an artist do a economic analysis? Does my stand make sense?

UTeM Spring Festival 2010 Review Part 1: Summary

Yesterday, 6 March of 2010 is my University i.e. UTeM's 4th Spring Festival.
The event was a success!

It was held in Dewan Besar UTeM



Actually, I wasn't very interested in going, but for the sake of blogging, I promise to give you the fastest and most accurate news, ISO (I'm So Owsome) guaranted!

Pattern of great student .

Well, uni life is almost the same for all student, we go to lecture, sign attendance and leave. Some more responsible student will still stay in the lecture room.

Guess what they do in it. Yes, some listen to lecture and some of them:

Ok, thats fine. Since they are not disturbing anymore.
However, this girl seems to be very cool.

FHL Birthday version: Suezanne's 22nd Birthday

Never in my life I see a Birthday Cake falls on the ground.
And never in my life see some "ki siao" ppl pick up a birthday cake from the floor and continue eating, until lick it clean!
